We are always interested in volunteers working alongside our staff. If you can spare a regular time each week, please contact us to discuss what areas you might be interested in. Areas such as Computers or Electrical would require some experience in the technical side, but many other areas may not - enthusiasm and a willingness to help customers is always useful.

It’s rewarding being a volunteer at CRAFT. People can work in most parts of the business: out on the vans, helping with deliveries and collections; working in the technical teams with bikes, electrical items or computers; or working with the sales team in the shop or sorting goods behind the scenes.

CRAFT is flexible about people wishing to volunteer, their circumstances and availability. Some people come for a couple of hours a week, others are more or less full time, with most doing a day or two each week.

Volunteers come to CRAFT to build up and use their skills in a real, practical business. Their contributions to its environmental and social aims are an important part of the CRAFT mix.
